Tucked away in the hills of Lucca, local wine makers produce some of the best and most prestigious Tuscan wines.

Wine tour Lucca is taking place between Lucca and Montecarlo‘s countryside. Lucca is surrounded by a charming hilly landscape characterized by vast olive groves, vineyards and splendid Renaissance villas.  Nowadays the Lucchesi winemakers have first obtained the Doc in the distant ’68, even earlier than in Chianti. From vineyards that boast spectacular views of the rolling hills, you can sample a variety of locally produced wines. Many vineyards also produce their own olive oil, which pairs beautifully with the regional cheeses and dishes.
